no one wants to hear
what you dreamt about unless you dreamt about them
don’t let that stop you
tell them anyway

Audio Damage have added a new player in their line of generously priced and ridiculously cool plugins. I was reading about it shortly before going to bed last night.

In my dream I am visiting the Analog Industries studio. A woman (Chris Randall’s wife?) is working at custom computer/controler that is mostly a huge plexiglas screen and some sort of desk-sized touch surface; it’s like something out of some recent SiFi Channel series. She patiently tells me its a custom interface that they are going to announce later on. Someone comments that I must work for Cakewalk otherwise why would they leak the product to me. (Yeah, I don’t get it either.) There is some sort of demonstration of the mathamatics of their new reverb, a bunch of audio geeks sitting around a over-sized flow chart that is several pieces of butcherblock paper taped together, written on with Sharpie. I have no real idea what they’re talking about, and though I’m excited to be taking part everyone seems a little puzzled why I’m there.

I’ve never seen Chris Randall and have no idea what he looks like, but in my mind apparently he is an unassuming early middle-aged gentleman. And their work-space is a cool loft with great lighting.

All evidence to the contrary, I do have a life.
