Cakewalk went live yesterday with the official information about Sonar 6.

Aside from the expected pile of competing threads on Cakewalk forums, Create Digital Music have posted a nice write-up. There is truly a lot to be excited about here. But the more I read about it, in addition to the shit I’ve already mentioned, it’s the Active Controller Technology (ACT) and the Audio Snap features that have got me the most excited.

Cakewalk also took the oportunity to overhaul their website, which means that there’s still a few bugs in the site. But speaking as a web designer, it looks much better.
