digital lofi: a developing concern of C.W. Puffer.
When I first stumbled upon the moniker “digital lofi” and began to adopt it for my creative endeavors I spent one hazy Saturday morning writing a sort of manifesto. After some minor tweaks, I slapped it up on my website at the time (registered into one of my “band” projects) and didn’t think much about it. When I went to start a Blogger version of this, uh, blog, I revisited it, thinking I might use it in some way; it was my manifesto after all. Yeah, it was complete crap. (Well, maybe not complete, but it was over and under ambitious, if you can imagine that; I know what I was trying to get at, but it just stoked my worst pretentious tendencies.)
Anyway. So I have no manifesto, no mission statement.
I have a philosophy. (Well, I have many but most, if any, aren’t that profound.) And maybe over the next couple of weeks I’ll attempt to elucidate it. Or maybe I’ll just let the name speak for itself.
If you happened here from some gear/DAW software/music related site, just search and filter what interests you. Who knows what I’ll be going on about.
